Joint Forces Versus Going Solo
There are many old sayings that point out the advantages of working with another rather than trying to do it all yourself. These adages came about for a very good reason-they work.
The Joint Venture is based on a simple fact. When one person spends an hour on a task, an hour is all there is. When two people work together during that hour, the time spent actually doubles. More gets done by working together than it does if you went your separate ways and tried to work alone.
Picture two people in separate places. The established marketer has exhausted all his products. He knows how to sell and has customers; he just has nothing to sell to them. The other person has created a product the world wants and needs. He is new at the marketing aspect, however and has no idea where to find customers. Neither person is going anywhere-unless they come together and work out a solution.
The process of leveraging comes into play. Both parties use what they have that makes them strongest. They agree to contribute that strength. The chance of success has just increased considerably.
It is easy to find people to join with you on Joint Ventures. Instead of trying to go solo, listen to the sayings of those who have learned from experience. Two heads really are better than one.
